New in 2018... Happy Hours! On Friday May 18. Featuring Cuban cocktails and music.
Depending on who you believe, the mojito either came from the Spanish word ‘mojar’, which means to wet, or the African word ‘mojo’, which means to cast a spell. Anybody who’s ever tasted one will agree that it’s thirst quenching and spellbinding in equal measures.

BACARDÍ Superior rum, lime wedges, fresh mint leaves, caster sugar, soda water/club soda
This classic was created in 1898 and the story behind it is just as refreshing as its flavor. In need of a cooling drink in the tropical heat, a mining engineer in the Cuban town of Daiquirí shook BACARDÍ Superior rum and lime with ice. Word spread and the top bartenders in Havana picked it up in no time.

BACARDÍ Superior rum, freshly squeezed lime juice, sugar
To celebrate the end of the Cuban War of Independence, US soldier Captain Russell ordered a BACARDÍ Gold rum and Coke® with lime. Curious onlookers asked its name. The Captain proposed a toast, ‘Por Cuba Libre’, "For A Free Cuba", and the original Cuba Libre was born.

1 part BACARDÍ Gold rum
2 parts cola (bottled)
2 lime wedges
To build this legendary cocktail, fill a highball glass with ice. Then squeeze 2 lime wedges over the ice and drop them into the glass. Pour in the BACARDÍ Gold rum, followed by chilled cola and give it all a gentle stir.
